♪A Groovy Kind of Love♪

Holy God,

Thank You. I finally agreed. We DO have ♪A Groovy Kind of Love♪

And from there? I again realized ♪Love Is All Around♪ just as ♪Turn, Turn, Turn♪ started singing.

How I thank You Father. You are good. All the time.

I think too much. About far too many things. Sleep gets disturbed. Struggle ensues. And finally I relent. Letting go. And letting You sing Your Truth to me. Thank You Lord.

Four hours of trying to avoid the persistent singing. Attempting to make sense of me referring to You as “Baby.” What a perfect difference it made when I allowed myself to receive the song instead of sing it.

You singing to me ♪Wouldn’t you agree, baby you and Me got a groovy kind of love♪ Yes! I agree. We do.

By finally being willing to agree with You, I was able to hear the Truth You wanted to share with me. Love IS all around! And to everything there IS a season (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8).

Thank You Father. Thank You for Your willingness to stay with me until I turn to You.

Thank You that as I read more about Your good gift of life, I feel myself settle into hope. “There is a time for everything, a season for every activity under heaven. A time to be born and a time to die” (Ecclesiastes 3:1-2a).

The comment (3:1-8) in The Life Recovery Bible tells us “…the emphasis is on the lifetime in between [life and death; the “dash” if you will]. There is a time for everything because God has set the times. All of life is part of a well-orchestrated symphony for which God has written the music. An essential part of recovery is seeking out God’s plan for us and then following it.”

Here I am Lord. Seeking Your plan. Asking Your Holy Spirit’s presence in following it. And wholeheartedly agreeing ♪we got a groovy kind of love♪

I love You. I thank You. And I ask You to continue turning me to Your will and Your way. Use me as You know is best. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
