"others" centered

 Wednesday, March 10, 2021 (2:38 p.m.)

Mammoth Lakes, CA

Holy God,

You are so good to us. Thank You for safe travel. Thank You for warm and welcoming shelter. Thank You for loving companionship and treasured memories. Both happy and painful.

Lord God, You have truly gifted us greatly. The simplest moments spent together can so easily alternate between light and breezy and deep and profound. Loving. Tender. Musical. Honest.

You have taught us these Truths Lord. The importance of patience. Respect. Listening. Others. Oh yes, Blessed God, how long has it been since we were taught the significance of being “others” centered?

Lord, how I thank You for the opportunity and privilege of coming to You. Turning in Your Word. Reading and learning. Practicing. Growing.

In his effort “to strengthen the believers in Ephesus in their relationship with God and with each other” (The Life Recovery Bible THE BOTTOM LINE) the apostle Paul wrote a personal message to his readers. Thank You for his heart for You and others, Lord.

According to Illustrated Bible Handbook each chapter in Ephesians describes a different aspect of what it means to be Yours. Chosen (1).Transformed (2). Loving (3). Ministering (4:1-16). Christlike (4:17-5:20). Submissive (5:21-6:9). And strong, in Your mighty power (6:10-20).

Blessed, Holy God, we would not be the people we are today if it were not for You working in, with, by, through and for us. Continue changing us as You know is best. Truly making us “others” centered.

We love You Father. We thank You. And we ask You to do all You must to Your perfect end. Praise You Lord. Amen.
