every part of who I am

Tuesday, September 13, 2016 (6:04 a.m.)
Blessed, Holy God,

Thank You that You are blessed and holy.
(6:30 a.m.)

Thank You that as I even attempt to begin an understanding of what that actually means another song starts singing to me.

Bless the Lord oh my soul Oh my soul Worship His Holy name Sing like never before Oh my soul I'll worship Your Holy name The sun comes up It's a new day dawning It's time to sing Your song again Whatever may pass and whatever lies before me Let me be singing When the evening comes

10,000 Reasons. We sang it here in our living room the other morning. It references Psalm 103.

Turning to The Voice translation (verses 1 and 2) the words used span ever more deeply within my being.

A song of David. O my soul, come, praise the Eternal with all that is in me – body, emotions, mind, and willevery part of who I am – praise His holy name. O my soul, come, praise the Eternal; sing a song from a grateful heart; sing and never forget all the good He has done.”

Every part of who I am. It's what I asked You yesterday. Speak Your Truth to all of my heart, soul, mind and strength.

O my soul, come praise the Eternal with all that is in me – body, emotions, mind and will – every part of who I am – praise His holy name.”

Bless the Lord oh my soul Worship His Holy name... You're rich in love And You're slow to anger Your name is great And Your heart is kind For all Your goodness I will keep on singing Ten thousand reasons For my heart to find

Thank You Father. Praise You. Bless You. Use me – every part of who I am. Thank You. I love You. Amen.
