adjusting to change

Friday, September 2, 2016 (1:58 p.m.)
Loving Lord,

Thank You! There were big plans for this weekend. Some kind of “bug” changed them all. Thank You that again we get to adjust to change.

Yes. Holy God. Right here, let me just say, “Hallelujah! And please keep speaking to me!”

Looking to Your Word concerning 'adjusting' I went first to Romans 12:1-2. Reading about offering ourselves as living sacrifices to You I wanted to know more.

Turning to Illustrated Bible Handbook, I read of the preceding four verses. “A Doxology of Praise; 11:33-36. Paul concludes this section with a doxology that links the word of Isaiah 40:13 and Job 41:11. God's plan is great and complex. Its very complexity shows us the depth of the riches of His wisdom and knowledge.”

Oh, amen! Your plan. Great. Complex. Depth. Riches. Your wisdom. Knowledge.

I love it when I read Your Word and get so excited [AGOG] that I want to shout it out to all! Romans 12:1-2 in The Message

“[Place Your Life Before God] So here's what I want you to do. God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life – your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life – and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for Him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what He wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.”

Oh, Hallelujah Jesus!

Back to The Life Recovery Bible and the comment for (Romans) “11:33-36 After sketching out the broad contours of God's plan for us, Paul could only worship God's majesty. God's plan, wisdom, knowledge, and ways are all so far beyond ours that we have only one option: to humbly give Him the praise He deserves! For those of us who recognize how limited and helpless we are, the fact that God's power and wisdom are great can be an encouragement, especially since He loves us and wants to help us.”

Yes! Verse 36 in so many translations. New Living Translation speaks loudest to me at this moment. “For everything comes from Him; everything exists by His power and is intended for His glory. To Him be glory forevermore. Amen.”

Yes. Please! I love You Father. Thank You for once more allowing us the opportunity to adjust to change. Be glorified Dearest God. Thank You. Amen.
