Ch-ch-ch-changes

Monday, May 7, 2018 (7:00 a.m.)
Holy God,

Thank You! You are changing us. We pray and ask and pray some more. Then we notice the ways things are different.

Our circumstances. Situations. And our ultimate reactions to those changes. Thank You Father.

Thank You that You stay constant. YOU do not change. Oh, but how You change Your people. Our hearts, our minds, our souls. Thank You Father.

As I begin to consider all the changes You are making in us, the song ♪Ch-ch-ch-changes♪ surprisingly continues to loop through my thinking. Thank You even for my confusion over this.

Your Word grounds me. Excites me. Makes me eager [AGOG] to share.

1 Chronicles 29:18 The Living Bible, “O Lord, God of our fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Israel! Make your people always want to obey you, and see to it that their love for you never changes.” Oh, yes. Please!

And now this in the same translation, “From: Paul, the slave of God and the messenger of Jesus Christ. I have been sent to bring faith to those God has chosen and to teach them to know God’s truth - the kind of truth that changes lives - so that they can have eternal life, which God promised them before the world began - and He cannot lie” (Titus 1:1-2).

Yes Blessed God, You change us. And You stay the same. Continue Your necessary work in each of us. Unlocking us into the people You would have us be.

Thank You Father. Continue changing us as only You can. Thank You. We love You. Use us. Amen.
