hope-filled certainty

 Friday, January 12, 2024 (6:09 a.m.)

Blessed, Holy God,

I am looking to You for certainty. Yes Father. The hope-filled certainty we have in You.

Psalm 33

2 Corinthians 4:14-18

(7:46 a.m.)

Ephesians 3:20

Romans 5:1-6

Hebrews 11:1

Jeremiah 29:11-14

Psalm 94:16-19

(8:30 a.m.)

Oh Most Dear and Faithful Father!

Thank You! Time spent reading of others’ experiences of hope in and with You. Reacquainting with many of Your verses that speak of Your faith, hope and love (1 Corinthians 13:13).

Father, thank You. PraiseYou. I continue looking to You for the hope-filled certainty that You promise us. Smiling as I trust You to provide all that You know we so desperately need.

I want very much to be caught up in “the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit” (2 Corinthians 13:14) with which the apostle Paul closed his letter to the church in Corinth.

Cover me as well with his prayer to the Romans (15:13, 33). “…that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in Him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit… And now may God, who gives us His peace, be with you all. Amen.”

Yes. Amen, dear Lord. Amen!
