And finding!

 Monday, December 4, 2023 (5:15 a.m.)

Blessed God,

Thank You! Waking with a song reminded me that we have hymns of Advent. Thank You Lord.

(6:02 a.m.)

Yes Father. Thank You for the opportunity of searching. And finding!

Expecting to readily put my hands on a specific hymnal led to feelings of frustrating disappointment. Thank You for reminding me to come before You with every search.

Blessed Lord, our list of misplaced items continues to grow. Thank You for teaching us to ask. Seek. Knock (Matthew 7:7). Yes Lord. Thank You that nothing is too big or too small to bring before You.

How perfect You are Dearest Lord. We lose. Forget. Can’t find. Things. Or answers. Then we remember! ♪What a Friend We Have in Jesus…Take it to the Lord in prayer♪

Yes Lord. Your Word is rife with life! Calling us to reach out to You. And to Your mighty power which is “at work within us, to accomplish more than we might ask or think” (Ephesians 3:20).

Father, I am asking. Seeking. Knocking. Wanting Your blessing and Your keeping of us.

Thank You for the things You’ve helped me find already this morning. Thank You that You are always ready, willing and able to provide our every need. “For nothing is impossible with God” (Luke 1:37).

Do all You must in, with, by, through and for me that I will think, say, do and be all that You know is best. What a perfect time to sing again the hymn with which I awoke.

♪O Come, O Come, Emmanuel And ransom captive Israel♪ Yes! “Come, Lord Jesus!” (Revelation 22:20b). Thank You. Praise You. Amen!
