we need you

Blessed God,

I love You. We need You. I trust You. We need You. Mm, yes. Father, we need You!

There’s a song. I don’t know what it is, but it echoes my heart. ♪We need You. Oh, oh, oh, we need You♪

Thank You that I don’t even need to find it. I can just come before You praying, crying out and singing [to a completely unidentifiable tune] ♪We need You Oh Lord we need You♪

Psalm 40:17; 37:4; 27:5; 32:8

Deuteronomy 4:29

Matthew 6:33

Hebrews 4:16

Proverbs 30:5

(8:12 a.m.)

Thank You Father that we have Your Word of Truth and promises in which to turn and stand. Thank You that ♪Your Love Never Fails… You stay the same through the ages Your love never changes… And when the oceans rage I don’t have to be afraid Because I know that You love me… You make all things work together for my good…♪

Thank You that You do Dear Lord. I confess to so easily forgetting the strength of Your mighty power (Ephesians 6:10). I look at circumstances as lost. And then You send reminders.

“For ALL have sinned; ALL fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet now God in His gracious kindness declares us not guilty” (Romans 3:23-24).

Oh most Dear and Holy God! Thank You for setting us free from our self-imposed prisons of guilt and shame. Your Word leads and guides us to the freedom we need to worship You unabashedly. And I do!

Lord, thank You for Your Truth. Your glorious standard. Lead and guide me by way of it I ask (Matthew 7:7). You are our strength. The generous Supplier for our every need.

Proverbs 30:5. “Every word of God proves true. He defends all who come to Him for protection.” I am here. Asking. Seeking. Knocking for Your protection.

The Life Recovery Bible’s comment teaches, “The words of God, including these principles in Proverbs, are true and offer protection to those who live by them. Living by God’s Truth demands that we honestly admit our need for God’s wisdom and that we seek to live by it. This will not be easy, and it may not be popular. But walking in God’s light will place us under God’s protection and care, a necessity for any successful recovery.”

Again, I sing out the song I do not know. ♪We need You. Oh, oh, oh. We need You♪

Use us this day Dearest Dad. To Your good and for Your glory. Lead, guide, direct and empower us to obey Your call on each of us.

Go before, behind, beside, beneath, above and within us that we would truly live in, with, by, through and for You. Thank You for the hope Your provide. Knowing, trusting, believing Your Word to be true exactly as written.

I want to love as You would have me. Not only much, but well. Appropriately (Philippians 1:9 The Message). With all of my heart, soul, mind and strength (Mark 12:30-31). You. Others. And myself.

Confessing to You right now that it’s something I am unable to accomplish on my own. Blame. Shame. Fear. Unforgiveness are all getting in the way. Do all You must dearest Lord. I want to live, love and laugh as You would have me. Freely. With great abandon.

I love You. We need You. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
