Love and laughter

 Sunday, September 4, 2022 (5:31 a.m.)

Blessed, Holy God,

Thank You! You blessed us with family yesterday. Love and laughter. History and memories. Blessings all the way around.

(7:07 a.m.)

Thank You for added rest Father. Time to sit. Considering Who and all You are.

Reading in the apostle Peter’s first letter to suffering Jewish Christians I am encouraged by the hope he gave them. Thank You Father that Your Word of Truth and promises never changes. And now I’m singing. ♪It stays the same through the ages… Your Love Never Fails♪

Blessed God, thank You for the peace I experience as I read The Hope of Eternal Life (1 Peter 1:3-12). The promise of “a priceless inheritance… that is kept in heaven… pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay” (v.4).

“And through your faith, God is protecting you by His power until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see” (5). Your promises steady us Lord.

You give us what is needed to “be truly glad” (6a) for the wonderful joy that will follow the many trials that are ahead
