HOPE/hurt

 Friday, June 16, 2023 (6:39 a.m.)

Blessed God,

Thank You. Praise You. Bless You. Keep You.

People are hurting Lord. Physically. Emotionally. Financially. And I suspect spiritually as well.

Father, You are good. Great. Glorious. Gracious. And we turn to You. Asking. Seeking. Knocking (Matthew 7:7). Hoping. Praying. Wanting. Pleading.

Thank You that we can come to You with our concerns. Hurts. And You supply HOPE.

Yes Father. We turn to You. Your Word of Truth and promises. And we get to trust. Believe. HOPE!

I am praying for others dear Lord. Overcome by pain. Suffering. Hurts. I ask You to overwhelm them with the HOPE that only comes from knowing and loving You. Your healing HOPE.

Directed to Lamentations 3:33 just now, I also turn to Jeremiah 33:3. God, You know Your plans. They are for good and not for evil. They are to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

Again I say I look to You. Asking. Hoping. Thanking. Praising. Wanting so much to help.

The Life Recovery Bible comment for Jeremiah 33:1-26 begins “When life seems like an unstable disaster, there is one thing we can count on: God is committed to us and to our recovery. He has promised to never abandon us.” I read these words and hope even harder.

“No matter how gray our life may be, no matter how dark the future seems, our loving and faithful God can heal us, restore our hope, and lead us toward recovery.” Yes God. Please!

“As we trust Him with our disappointments, failures, sins and confusion, we will find Him faithful to comfort, forgive and guide us.” Yes Father. Yes!

Do all You must Dearest God. In, with, by, through and for each of us as only You are able.

New Living Translation tells us, “Though He brings grief, He also shows compassion because of the greatness of His unfailing love. For He does not enjoy hurting people or causing them sorrow.” Show Your compassion here Lord. Bring Your HOPE to all who are hurting.

We love You Lord. We absolutely need, trust and want You. Help the hurting I ask. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
