steadfast

 Monday, December 19, 2022 (5:35 a.m.)

Blessed, Loving, Holy Father God,

Thank You! You are good. Great. Glorious. Gracious. Faithful. Eternal. Always. Mm. So many words to describe You. Steadfast just came to mind.

Mm. Yes please. Talk with me about Your steadfastness. I depended on it yesterday. This whole past weekend actually. Without being aware of the word itself, I knew I was in over my head many times with out of control thoughts and behaviors which all led back to me depending on Your Word.

Several times, in my own inadequate strength and power, I attempted to right wrongs that were swiftly leading us away from Your standard of love and respect. Thank You Father. Your Word truly is the Bedrock on which we stand. Flawed as we are.

Let the music begin! ♪Give thanks to the Lord, Our God and King His love endures Forever For He is good, He is above all things His love endures forever Sing praise, sing praise♪

It IS Your love that undergirds everything we stand for. Without Your steadfastness, we would absolutely be lost. Thank You Father. Praise You Lord.

And just that fast (snap!) I’m singing ♪Come, Let Us Worship and Bow Down Let us kneel before the Lord, our God, our Maker. For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand, just the sheep of His hand♪ (Psalm 95:6).

Lord. You are! Our God. Our Maker. And we truly are… the people of Your pasture. The sheep of Your hand.

Thank You that in Your steadfast love for each and every single one of us, we get to recognize the errors of our ways. Reset. “Recalculate.” Repent (Revelation 3:19). Oh yes Dear God and Father! YOU make this happen. In, with, by, through and for us.

I experienced it [Your steadfastness on our behalves] this entire weekend. I even recognized and acknowledged it on occasion! Thank You Father. Praise You God.

Revelation 3:19. Amplified Bible, Classic Edition. “Those whom I [dearly and tenderly] love, I tell their faults and convict and convince and reprove and chasten [I discipline and instruct them]. So be enthusiastic and in earnest and burning with zeal and repent [changing your mind and attitude].

Continue Your work in us Dearest God. Plans are currently not what we had anticipated. Nor expected. Line us up to Your will. Your way. Show us the path You would have each of us take.

We love You. We need, trust and want You as Lord of our lives. Thank You for Your steadfast love and Word that never changes.

♪With a mighty hand and outstretched arm His love endures forever♪

Would You just look at this! How absolutely excited am I?! Other words for steadfast [in Greek] are endurance. And patience. Attributes You provided me in challenging circumstances the past few days.

♪For the life that’s been reborn His love endures forever Sing praise, sing praise Forever God is faithful Forever God is strong Forever God is with us Forever and ever, forever… From the rising to the setting sun His love endures forever By the grace of God we will carry on His love endures forever…♪

Thank You, Father, for Your steadfastness. Your enduring love and Truth. I am asking, seeking, knocking (Matthew 7:7) all You provide in empowering and enabling us to follow Your lead. Readily. Obediently. Steadfastly.

Use us Lord. We want to glorify and enjoy You. Forever! Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
