Most Holy and Blessed God,

Thank You!

Because of You I got to wake up singing a love song for my husband. A song by Cher which speaks of starts, stops, memories, decisions and love. Yes Father. Thank You for Your love. Your love that has kept us together these many years.

♪After All♪ these years of getting to know one another, being married and still choosing to love, honor and respect each other, I have tears because of the blessings You have provided. I can’t even find the words with which to praise and thank You for all You’ve done in, with, by, through and for us.

The phrase, “But for the grace of God” quickly comes to mind. Yes Father. It is absolutely Your mercy and grace that has kept us ♪coming back to these two hearts♪ through all these years.

The decision to follow You rather than our own emotions, or the courts of public opinion in many cases, is what allows us to continue singing love songs to each other. Thank You Father.

Teaching us to listen when we’d rather speak. Stand firm and not give up. Humble ourself for the good of the other. YOU are teaching us these Truths. Thank You Blessed Father.

You, and only You, are the reason I can wake before dawn, singing a love song for my husband. How I ask You to use it and us for Your good and to Your glory. We love You. And we long to serve You. Well.
