shared burden

 Friday, July 16, 2021 (5:45 a.m.)

Holy God,

You provided us a challenge of sorts yesterday. Another opportunity to pool resources and work together. Thank You Father.

Yes. Thank You for the privilege to learn. To listen. To share burdens. And care for and about one another.

I was taken outside of my comfort zone. Asked for information. And ultimately offering assistance. Truly Lord, it was a burden shared. Thank and praise You Dearest God.

You allowed us the chance to genuinely work together Lord. Four individuals and a group of animal professionals. You lay the ground work. And we get to choose to follow Your leading. Or not.

Thank You God for the decisions we each made in caring for a distressed dog [and ultimately her caregiver]. Asking necessary questions along the way.

Supporting one another. Each offering up only that which we were capable. You at work within the lot of us.

Paused for an updating phone call followed by technical difficulties. Again I’m thanking You Father. You continue growing us. After all these years, we are still learning to trust You and one another enough to share our burdens. Freely. Honestly. Openly. Willingly.

Thank You. Praise You. It’s only You enabling and empowering all the changes taking place in our personal relationships. Bless You Father.

Galatians 6:2. The Passion Translation. “Love empowers us to fulfill the law of the Anointed One as we carry each other’s troubles.”

♪Cast Thy Burden upon the Lord♪ (Psalm 55:22). The Passion Translation. “So here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Leave all your cares and anxieties at the feet of the Lord, and measureless grace will strengthen you.” This was You working in, with, by, through and for us yesterday. Thank and Praise You Dearest God.

Keep working in us I pray O Lord. We need You. We want You. We love You. Use us. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
