Holy, Blessed God,
Thank You that You are holy. Blessed. And God.
I keep making mistakes. You don’t. Thank You.
(6:09 a.m.)
I love You. I need, trust and want to learn to “worship You in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24). I confess to not knowing what this means. Nor how to do it.
I am also confessing fear to You, Father. Fear of the unknown. The “what if”s and “what have you”s.
I read the other day of the importance of worshiping You rather than worrying. Quite along the same line as FAITH being stronger than fear.
Jesus told the Samaritan woman at Jacob’s well about the gift of living water He was offering (John 4:10). He went on telling her all about herself (v.16 ). Because she put her faith in Him, so did many others (39-42).
I want to serve as a good example of Your gracious forgiveness. Sharing Your good news with others.
The Message says, “It’s who you are and the way you live that count before God. Your worship must engage your spirit [the heart, the inner self] in the pursuit of truth [reality]. That’s the kind of people the Father is looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before Him in their worship. God is sheer being itself - Spirit. Those who worship Him must do it out of their very being, their spirits, their true selves, in adoration.”
Yes please. Teach me how to worship, adore, glorify and enjoy You. Every moment of everyday. Keep working in, with, by, through and for me Dearest Lord.
“God is spirit [the Source of life, yet invisible to mankind]” (Amplified Bible). Do all You must that I will come to know You as such.
♪Here I Am to Worship,
Here I am to bow down
Here I am to say that You’re my God
Altogether lovely, altogether worthy
Altogether wonderful to me♪
I’m going to keep making mistakes. Not intentionally. Unfortunately, mistakes will be made. Teach me what You would have me learn Lord.
♪Light of the world
You stepped down into darkness
Opened my eyes and let me see
Beauty that made this heart adore You
Hope of a life spent with You…
I’ll never know how much it cost
To see my sin up on that cross♪
Do all You must Blessed God. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
