I wouldn’t call it bitterness. But it’s definitely less than joy. Work in and with me I ask (Matthew 7:7a) dear Lord.

I keep getting a glimpse of a smile. Here and there. I know, trust and believe You to be good. Great. Gracious. And glorious (Psalm 145:5-8).
I confess to thinking of imagination as pretend. Make believe. Thank You for writers who expand on having a Biblical perspective concerning imagination.
And here comes a hint of excitement. Eagerness. Some joy. Another smile. Hope.
I looked up the meaning of imagination and I am thrilled to say the very least!
“the ability of the mind to be creative or resourceful.”
And look at other words describing it… “interest, fascination, attention, passion, curiosity, preoccupation.” Thank You Father. These words often describe my mind.

Lord God, thank You for this opportunity to read the comments of others who liken what Willy Wonka portrays as Christlike. Not Jesus Himself. But Truth He came to exhibit and offer on our behalf.
Father, I love, need, trust and want You. Use me exactly as You know is best. Empowering and enabling me in becoming all You have for me to be. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
