Holy God,
Thank You! This morning I am aware that I have a very curious mind. Thank You for that. And thank You for the easy delight that comes along with it.

And what has caused this exploration into being curious? The song with which I awoke!
♪’Twas Brilling…
… And the mome raths outgrabe♪
(Cheshire Cat Alice in Wonderland)
What?! How have I ever not noticed how completely nonsensical this song is?
Thank You God for yet another example of the many things I take for granted. Like believing all these years that I just didn’t know the song well enough. Nope! Clearly not the case.
Thank You that I can smile, even laugh out loud, at my own mistakes. Thank You for the opportunity to come before You with it all.

More reading. More searching. More finding.
“Question. Explore. Examine.”
“Genuine childlike curiosity seeks God without guile or ulterior motives. Having a holy curiosity seeks a better understanding of God, His ways, and spiritual growth leading to deeper intimacy with Him” (How Curiosity Restores Joy in the Lord).
“Society fails to value curiosity. Over time we learn not to ask questions… Resulting in a loss of wonder in discovery, and ultimately a loss of JOY.”

Awesome, Blessed, Amazing Lord God,
Thank You for showing me what a blessing it is to have a curious mind. I love You. I need, trust and want You. Use me exactly as You know is best. Allowing my curiosity to lead me in whatever adventure You have planned. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
