So soft and tender♪

Father God,
Thank You that I would wake up singing and then thinking of Your words of love.
John 13:34-35
(9:52 a.m. CT)
Thank You Father for time to consider. Ponder. Listen. Learn. Read. And to clean up the remains of last night’s dinner.
You are so very good to us. You provide us Your words of love. So soft and tender. Words of mercy. Grace. Forgiveness. Words that free us to love You, others and ourselves as You would have us love (Mark 12:30). With all of our hearts. Souls. Minds. And strengths (v. 31).
Thank You. Thank You. Thank You.
Leaves are changing color. A murder of crows is cawing incessantly at the highest, greenest top of the tallest tree in sight. Lawns are being cut by zero turn mowers. These are all things I don’t see everyday at home.
Thank You Father. For teaching me to find such delight in the simplest of surroundings.
I want to learn to love as Jesus commanded His disciples. So many of Your words of love get lost on me throughout the course of any given day.
When I take the time to read and consider more words of love I think of Your Truth and the freedom that comes from knowing it (John 8:32).
