greeting God

 ♪You’re altogether lovely

Altogether holy

Altogether wonderful to me…

I’ll never know how much it cost

To see my sin upon that cross♪

(Here I Am to Worship)

Friday, October 24, 2025 (4:17 a.m.)

Most Dear and Awesome, Holy Father God,

Thank You that I get to greet You each day. Thank You that I want to. Mm, yes. I do!

Reading, “My heart is ready, O God; I will awake and greet the dawn! I will give thanks to You, O Lord, among the peoples” (Psalm 57:8-9a) a different song starts singing.

♪From the rising sun

To the setting same

I will praise Your name

Great is Your faithfulness to me…

Though the storms may come

And the winds may blow

I’ll remain steadfast

And let my heart learn, when You speak a word

It will come to pass…♪

(Promises)

Thank You Father. You blessed us with a day of simplicity yesterday. Relatively easy travel. Genuine, heartfelt conversation. Laughter. Voices raised in friendship as one’s memory differed from another’s. Your love having tied us together through the decades.

Thank You for the ways You work in our lives. The hope You provide. Thank You for the opportunity to love and be loved by You.

Hebrews 6:19 “This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary.”
