Holy God,

Thank You for surprises. Unexpectedness. “Didn’t see that coming” events.

That You that You are good. Glorious. Gracious. Great (Psalm 145:5-8). Always.

Thank You that we can come to You exactly as we are and be loved by You. Always. At all times. On every occasion.

Mm. At all times. With You. What a comfort. Such joy.

Oh look! A passage expressing these very words.

Ephesians 6:18. “Pray at all times and on every occasion in the power of the Holy Spirit. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all Christians everywhere.”

You never cease to amaze “Wow!” me Father. From a completely unexpected accepting of an impromptu breakfast invitation to the glory of Your sunrise. Thank You for the surprising gifts You provide us at every turn of our days.

Bless us and keep us Dear Lord. Use us as only You know is best. We love, need, trust and want You. Empower and enable us in reflecting Your love to others. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
