calm, peace ~ 9/20/25

Fargo, ND

Holy God,

Thank You. Again. Still. Always.

A delightful trip. A fair amount of turmoil taking place back home. Thank You for the calm and peace we find as the antonym for great disturbances, confusions and uncertainties.

Searching in, with, by through and for You and Your Word, we find peace and calm. Your calm peace. Yes! “You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in You, all whose thoughts are fixed on You!” (Isaiah 26:3).

I’m taking back what the enemy stole♪

Blessed, Holy Father God,

Thank You for the love You continually pour into us (Romans 5:5). The love in which we are firmly rooted (Ephesians 3:17). Father, thank You that it is Your love that will overcome every single fear and doubt that we come upon.

Thank You for being our God and Father. Praise You for doing all that only You are able.

There is turmoil across the country. Not only in our little family in this world. Bless us with the protection Jesus prayed for His disciples (John 17). Yes Father. Keep us safe from the evil one (v. 15).

Do all You must in this current turn of events to make Your glory known. THY will be done, Lord!

“We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not disappoint. For we know how dearly God loves us, because He has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His love” (Romans 5:3-5).

Oh Amen Dear Lord! Amen! Bless us. Keep us. Make Your face shine upon us. Be gracious to us. Turn Your face toward us [“SMILE!”] and give us Your peace (Numbers 6:24-26).

Use us and all extenuating circumstances EXACTLY as You know is best. You’ve got even this, Dear God! We love, need, trust and want You. Thank You Lord. Praise You. Amen.
