Most Holy God,
Thank You that You are our good God and Father. Thank You that I get to sing to You. Of gladness. And sadness. Thank You that others envision You as the recipient of the same song as I.
Thank You Jesus, for the ease with which I can seek and find (Matthew 7:7b). Ask and receive (v. 7a). Knock and have the door opened (7c).
I am confessing gloomy confusion to You concerning these past several days. Fear. Sadness. Unsettledness.
Rather than dwell there, I bring You my deepest offering of submission. Asking You to make something marvelous of all You have provided me.

Fill my heart with gladness, take away all my sadness
Ease my troubles, that’s what You do
For the morning sun in all it’s glory

You fill my life with laughter, somehow You make it better

Holy, Holy God You are truly amazing. Wonderful. All the things I aspire to. Do all You must that the fruit of Your Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23a) will take root and grow abundantly in me.
I love, need, trust and want You. Use me exactly as You know is best.

Thank You for Who You are and all You do. Keep being our good, good God and Father. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
