Thank You Jesus for standing at my door and knocking (Revelation 3:20). I get to decide if I will open it to You.
My fearful brain tells me repeatedly that I am not enough. I fail and fall short. Thank You that Your Word of Truth and promises provides the counter assault. I am not in this on my own!
“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my victorious right hand” (Isaiah 41:10).
Yes please Father. I want to be unafraid. No pretense to the contrary. Do all You must that I would truly worship, adore, glorify and enJOY You.
“Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God. May Your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing” (Psalm 143:10).
I love You. I need, trust and want to ‘Work hard and cheerfully at whatever I do, as though I were working for the Lord rather than for people’ (Colossians 3:23).
