Holy, Awesome God.
Thank You!
I’m feeling more myself. Stronger. Steadier. More stable.
I just heard myself internally sing:
♪I don’t want to be afraid♪
(Peace Be Still)
And I realized… I have been!
Afraid of not feeling well. Fear of not measuring up. Of not meeting expectations. How many of them are unrealistic? Unnecessary. And whose expectations are they anyway?
I want to serve You Dear Lord.
(5:11 a.m.)
I confess to falling back into being afraid. Of saying the wrong thing. Thinking, doing, even eating incorrectly.
You know Your best for me. I want to tap back into believing it for myself.
(6:20 a.m.)
Thank You for renewing my strength. ‘You fill my life with good things’ (Psalm 103:5a).
I’m not sure that I am familiar with this verse. I know that I want to be!
Thank You God. Thank You for leading me to James 1:17 as well.
“Remember that every good gift comes to us from God. He only does what will help us. He is our Father in heaven. He made everything in the sky that gives us light. Those things do not give us the same light all the time. They change, but God does not change” (Easy English Bible).
Being so enthralled with the sky recently, these words are especially fitting. Thank You Father for putting my attention on You in so many ways.
How I ask (Matthew 7:7) You to continue singing and speaking Your Words of Truth and promise to me.
“When your soul is famished and withering, He fills you with good and beautiful things, satisfying you as long as you live. He makes you strong like an eagle, restoring your youth” (Psalm 103:5 The Voice).
I need You Father. Every single moment I need You. I know there’s another song to this effect. I’m choosing to ignore it for now.
I’ve been off my game for several days now. Thank You for reminding me that my strength is in You Lord.

Isaiah 40:28-31. “Have you never heard or understood? Don’t you know that the LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth? He never grows faint or weary. No one can measure the depth of His understanding. He gives power to those who are tired and worn out; He offers strength to the weak. Even youths will become exhausted, and young men will give up. But those who wait on the LORD will find new strength. They will fly high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.”
