Holy God,

Thank You for more! More sleep. And rest. More reading. More singing. More songs. More gratitude. Especially the gratitude Lord.

Thank You Father for giving us so much more than we could ever hope or ask for. In fact, Your Word spells it out for us so clearly.

“Now glory be to God! By His mighty power at work within us, He is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope” (Ephesians 3:20). Thank You that You do Lord. Thank You that You ARE Lord!

Use me today exactly as You alone know is best. Do all You know is necessary that I will represent You well.

I love You Lord. I need You. I trust You. I want You. Thank You for all the blessings You provide. Make me all the more aware of them as they come. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.

Blessed God,

Second sleep hasn’t happened yet. I’m looking to You. Asking (Matthew 7:7) for more.

Lord God, You know the thoughts of my mind and my heart. Far better than I. Work in, with, by, through and for me that I will come to accept Your leading, guidance and direction. Your will be done.

Yes Father. ♪Thy Will be done♪ I would like more sleep please. Thank You for who and all You are.

Didn’t happen. So we’ll go with gratitude instead. Thank You Father for all the ways You provide for us.

You love us. So much that You gave Your one and only Son to save us. And as a result? “Everyone who believes in the Son will not die. Instead, they will live for ever” with YOU (John 3:16 EasyEnglish Bible).

How cool is that? And the wording of the very next verse in the same reading? Equally inspiring.

You didn’t send Your Son into the world because You wanted to punish people. No. You sent Your Son “to save the world from punishment” (17).

We have so much for which to be grateful. Thank You for reminding me. Again.

Be in, with, by, through and for me this day [which You have made]. Do all You must that I will TRULY “rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24).

Father, I love You. I need You. I trust You. I want You. Thank You for loving each of us as only You are able. Use me. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.

Blessed God,

I’m asking You to bless me and keep me. Make Your face shine upon me. Turn Your face toward me. Smile. And give me Your peace (Numbers 6:24-26).

Father God, I love You. I need, trust and want You. There are challenges going on all around us. Situations and circumstances over which we have no control. You do. I ask (Matthew 7:7) You to make us ready, willing and able to follow Your lead, guidance and direction through them all. 

I woke up with notes of one song and quickly followed it to a completely different one. If it matters to You, I’m asking You to bring it to me.

Lord, thank You for the ways You lead us. Again I ask You to keep me following You. I believe You to be the amazing God and Father many claim You to be. Do all You must that others see You in, with, by, through and for me.

Holy God,

Thank You. Yesterday I asked for “even more” and You provided my every need. Today I’d like just a little less.

Perhaps a little less interacting. Expectations. Planning. Doing. And a lot more being.

Mm, yes Father. Let me take this time to sit and BE with You!

Thank You Lord. Another gift! Being still and knowing that You are God (Psalm 46:10a). I want to stay wrapped in Your presence. Leaning on, trusting in You to guide my steps.

Take me by the hand I pray. Leading. Guiding. Directing my path (Proverbs 3:5-6). I love You. I want You. I need You. I trust You. Use me exactly as You know is best. As much, or as little, as is necessary.

Thank You. Another day, another opportunity. Let me use them well.

Thank You for allowing me to wake remembering two songs and the “H” words that had come to me.

How cool is this?! What I thought was ♪This is my surrender♪ is actually ♪Make Room♪ Thank You God for ALL the things we do not know.

I’m confessing to You right now for what I just chose to do. I took a years old conversation to a third party rather than the person himself. I thought about it ahead of time. Decided firmly against it. And then, knowing I had the choice, I painstakingly painted another in a VERY unfavorable light. What would You have me do here Lord?

The horse is already out of the barn. Closing the gate will do no good. Do I run after it? Forgive me Father. You absolutely have taught me and I truly do know better. Yet, I did it anyway.

I want to live this day glorifying You. That was definitely not my finest moment. Forgive me Father. Lead me in my next step here I ask (Matthew 7:7).

How perfect that again the chorus sings. ♪And I will Make Room for You To do whatever You want to… This is my surrender♪

Father God, I love You. I need, trust and want You. Use me EXACTLY as You know is best. Hopefully. Happily. TRULY raising a Hallelujah!

Good morning Lord. Thank You for the word glorious coming to mind. Even before my eyes opened.

Reading a past prayer containing this idyllic word takes me back to another time [2009]. Another trip [New Mexico via Laughlin and Flagstaff].

Father God, thank You for the people You have brought into my life throughout these years who have contributed so mightily to the woman I am today. A husband who LOVED to travel. A “Tia” who practiced being JOYFUL every single day of her life.

How blessed am I to have had such glorious examples of living simply and  truly “happily ever after.” Lord, thank You that Your glory surrounds us. Teaching us. Reminding us.

Thank You for leading my thinking and discovering. Psalm 73:23-24. “Yet I still belong to You; You are holding my right hand. You will keep on guiding me with Your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny.”

Use me this day, Dear Lord, exactly as You know is best. Rejoicing and being glad. I love, need, trust and want You. Thank You for loving me. Amen.
