♪How Great Is Your love?

I did it again Lord. Without meaning to. I put in different words to the song. Interesting how sure I can be about certain things and at that very same time be absolutely wrong.
Talk with me this morning
(4:32 a.m.)
I didn’t know how to finish that thought. Perhaps it’s best to leave it open ended. Just asking You to talk with me. Yes. Please. Talk with me, Lord. You choose the topic and direction it takes.
(4:55 a.m.)
Let me go back to the song. With the correct lyrics. And title.
♪How Great Is Our God, sing with me… How great, how great is our God Name above all names Worthy of our praise My heart will sing How great is our God♪
That’s it! Let’s talk about Your greatness!
Psalm 145:3. “Great is the LORD! He is most worthy of praise! No one can measure His greatness.”
Various versions describe Your greatness as: unsearchable. Incomprehensible to man. Vast and deep. Unable to be grasped. Beyond all searching out. No limits to its extent. Beyond understanding. Indescribable. Beyond discovery. Boundless. Unfathomable. Immeasurable. Without end.
Lord God, I confess to the numerous times I attempt to put Your greatness into a very small box of my own understanding. Thank You for once again expanding my thought process. I know so very little.
The Living Bible. Beginning at verse one. “I will praise You, my God and King, and bless Your name each day and forever. Great is Jehovah! Greatly praise Him! His greatness is beyond discovery! Let each generation tell its children what glorious things He does” (vs 1-4).
Yes! Great are You. Greatly to be praised. With greatness beyond discovery, searching out and understanding.
Let me stick to praising. Beginning with my initial mistake of the morning. How I ask (Matthew 7:7a) You to take and use every error I make. Turning it all into something beautiful for You.
♪The splendor of a King, clothed in majesty Let all the earth rejoice… He wraps Himself in light And darkness tries to hide And trembles at His voice… How great is our God, sing with me…♪
And on my own side note? Your love is pretty great too! (Ephesians 3:19a)
Use me Dearest Lord. Exactly as You know is best. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
