Blessed God,

Thank You. It’s not everyday that I start off immediately knowing the song I am already singing. ♪…Something Better…♪ Thank You for such an easy find to the lyrics.

Thank You too for the smile I am smiling. Searching to know more about the song I am directed first to Revelation 21:4. Followed by Psalm 56:8.

♪… There’s not a tear that You let go to waste No, You turn it into something better… I don’t know how, but You take all my pain And You turn it into something better…♪

Father, thank You that YOU know the plans You have for us. They are plans for good and not for evil. Plans to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). You listen when we pray (v.12). We find You when we look for You wholeheartedly. (13).

Your Word is filled with the promises You have for Your people. You take our pain. Never leaving us alone. Showing us a kind of love we’ve never known. Taking our hearts and making a home. Putting together again all the broken pieces within ♪And with You, a new story begins♪ Causing it all to work together for good (Romans 8:28). And ♪...something better...♪

You never cease amazing me Lord. I’m asking (Matthew 7:7) You to use all the tears that I have so easily shed these past several weeks for Your glory (1 Corinthians 10:31) and the good of others (v. 33).

I love You Dear Lord. I need, trust and want You. I look to You for the faith, hope and love (1 Corinthians 13:13) necessary for me to continue growing in, with, by, through and for You.

Do all You must Dearest God. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
