You are GOOD God! Thank You. Yes!
Waking to ♪Who Am I, that the Lord of all the earth would care to know my name? Would care to feel my hurt? Who am I… ♪ Its lyrics were the very first thing I saw when opening the computer. Who am I indeed?!
I am:
complete in Christ (Colossians 2:10)
alive with Christ (Ephesians 2:5)
free from the power of sin that leads to death (Romans 8:2)
Your workmanship; masterpiece; craftsmanship; handiwork; what You made
me; the product of Your hand; made to do good things (Ephesians 2:10)
(6:12 a.m.)
Thank You that I am these things in You. And still I make mistakes. Get distracted. Have bad dreams. This is when the rubber really meets the road! Do I come to You? Or go off and try to solve and fix things on my own?
(6:48 a.m.)
Paused to go outside for a better view of the colors appearing in the sky. And in the garden. To feel the brisk, chilled air on my skin. And hear the birds calling out to one another.
Father thank You for the opportunity to pick up the very next line of the song. And have it fit me so perfectly.
♪Who am I, that the Bright and Morning Star (Revelation 22:16) would choose to light the way For my ever wandering heart?♪
I am:
renewed in the knowledge of God (Colossians 3:10) and no longer want to
live in my old ways or nature before I accepted Christ (vs. 8-9)
Use me today Blessed God. Exactly as You know is best. Unafraid. True to You. As Your new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). Your ambassador (v. 20a). Speaking for Christ when I plead “Come back to God!” (20c).
I love You Lord. I want to live in, with, by, through and for You. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
