standing on Truth

♪God’s Not Done With You…♪

This is completely unexpected. And appreciated!

Feeling a little sad. And somewhat overwhelmed. Thank You that the very next things were the song singing within me [seemingly out of nowhere] and two playful mockingbirds zipping wildly around the grapefruit tree.

Father, I have concern about the health of this particular tree. As well as the banana palms in the backyard. In fact, there is so much overgrowth I wonder how it will ever come to pass.

Thank You that my first instinct is to come back to You. Asking, seeking, knocking (Matthew 7:7) for Your Truth to be revealed to me. That I will choose to stand on and cling to the Truth of Your promises.

I love You Lord. I need You. I trust and I want You. All of You. To live in, with, by, through and for me.

♪You give life, You are love You bring light to the darkness You give hope, You restore every heart that is broken It’s Your breath in our lungs So we pour out our praise… to You only All the earth will shout Your praise Our hearts will cry, these bones will sing Great Are You Lord

Thank You for bringing me back here with You. Finding comfort again in Your Truth.

“That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever” (2 Corinthians 4:16-18).

Yes!

♪Standing in the ruins, Feels a lot like the end So used to losing, You’re afraid to try again Right now all you see are ashes Where there was a flame Truth is that you’re not forgotten ‘Cause grace knows your name God’s Not Done With You Even with your broken heart and your wounds and your scars God’s not done with you Even when you’re lost and it’s hard and you’ve fallen apart… It’s not over, it’s only begun So don’t hide, don’t run ‘Cause God’s not done With you♪

Again I ask You to use me to Your good and for Your glory. I love You Father. I need, trust and want You. Thank You for presence. Always. Amen.
