Thank You Lord for the opportunity to go out and practice being present. With You!
Having woken again with ♪You’ll Be in My Heart♪ I worked at changing it to ♪This is the day… that the Lord has made… I will rejoice and be GLAD in it…♪
Thank You that I was able to do exactly that! STUNNED by the beauty in the sky I went out to more fully enJOY it.
Thank You for reminding me that in any given circumstance I am blessed/happy (Matthew 5:3-11). I get to CHOOSE to be obedient to verse 12a. “Rejoice and be glad” because great is my reward in heaven.
Surprised by weeks old roses still blooming on a stem yielded an immediate, “Thank You God.” Followed very shortly by the sight of blossoming daffodils. I quickly recognized my delight and readily became aware of what GLAD means to me this morning.
