waking up singing

 I Know a place

Where the music is fine

And the lights are always low♪

♪I know a place

Where we can go♪

Father God,

You never cease to fascinate me.

(5:16 a.m.)

Why would I wake up singing this particular song? After a convoluted dream about lightbulbs of varying shapes and sizes.

Lord, it’s the odd things that bring me back to wondering where You are in all this. Searching about being fascinated with You, I find myself reading and wondering about Revelation 21. The New Jerusalem.

(5:41 a.m.)

Yes. The New Jerusalem. A place I’ve heard about. And know little of.

(6:06 a.m.)

Reading to learn more, I’m directed to John 14:2. The Father’s home with many rooms. And Ephesians 2:19-22, A Temple for the Lord.

I want to know Your place Lord. Continue Your work in growing and changing me to be more like You. Loving. Kind. Merciful. Gracious. Do all You must to Your great and glorious end.

I love, need, trust and want to serve You.

♪I know a place…♪

Thank You. Praise You. Amen.

P. S. As I continue reading of Your fascinating City [Two Journeys with Andy Davis], another song begins. Singing to me of Your fascinating Truth.

We Built This City

“… meditate on heaven. Think about it a lot… and be filled with hope, and joy in our future heavenly glory.”

Thank You Father for using whatever it takes to speak to me at my very base nature. I love You. Amen.
