courage and comfort

 ♪You’ve been faithful

You’ve been kind good♪

Saturday, July 19 2025 (4:07 a.m.)

Blessed [Happy] God,

Thank You. You provide us blessings. Large and small. Noticeable and not.

♪And all my life You have been faithful

And all my life You have been so, so good

With every breath that I am able

Oh, I will sing of the Goodness of God

(4:31 a.m.)

Father,

Thank You for yesterday’s decision to repeatedly call to mind the Truth of 2 Corinthians 13:14. Christ’s grace. Your love. And the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. Thank You for the thinking of these three words throughout the night. Grace. Love. Fellowship.

♪I love Your voice

You have led me through the fire

In the darkest night

You are close like no other

I’ve known You as a Father

I’ve known You as a Friend

And I have lived in the goodness of God♪

(4:57 a.m.)

Thank You for the opportunity to sit and sing with You this morning. Pondering thoughts that are new to me. The beatitudes. The word grace also meaning unconditional love. Various versions of Bible verses.

Holy God, You ARE so, so good! Thank You that You know our every need.

The Message has me smiling with hope as I read Matthew 5:3-5. “You’re blessed when you’re at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and His rule. You’re blessed when you feel you’ve lost what is most dear to you. Only then can you be embraced by the One most dear to you. You’re blessed when you’re content with just who you are are - no more, no less. That’s the moment you find yourself proud owners of everything that can’t be bought.”

What would that look and feel like dear Lord? Being content with just who I am. Do all You must to this end.

J.B. Phillips New Testament tells us “How happy are those who know what sorrow means for they will be given courage and comfort!” I depend on this to be true Dear Lord.

Courage and comfort. I witnessed great courage in the swimming pool yesterday. And I experienced the joyous reward that followed each success. Father, keep me coming to You for all courage and comfort. Surely ♪Your goodness is running after, it’s running after me♪ (Psalm 23:6).

Thank You for Your loving goodness Dearest God. Use me in sharing it freely with others. I love, need, trust and want You. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
