♪...I Trust in God, my Savior…
…He will never fai-ai-ail♪

Thank You that You ARE God, my Savior. And You WILL never fail! Thank You that You know the plans You have for us. Plans for good and not for evil. Plans to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Thank You that we have Your Word. Your Word that is filled with Your Truth and promises. Thank You that “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1; see also Colossians 1:15-17).
Father, thank You for living and working in, with, by, through and for me. I became frustrated with circumstances yesterday and I initially cursed them. Thank You for reminding me to give thanks and be happy instead.
Thank You for the opportunity of coming before You quite early this morning. Smiling. Excited. Eager to learn.
(4:36 a.m.)
Reading in The Passion Translation, I see “the Word” transcribed as “the Living Expression.” Taken from the Greek word logos. Much is written here. “Jesus Christ is the eternal Message, the creative Word, …the divine self-expression of all that God is…”
(5:03 a.m.)
Father, here again I confess to feeling inadequate. Out of my depth. In over my head.
Just this one simple verse I’ve glossed over most of these years has a depth I can’t even begin to fathom. I don’t know what it is. Yet I believe it to be of great importance.
Thank You for speaking to me loudly through Your Word!
Good News Bible = “source of life”
(6:09 a.m.)
I continue reading [The Voice explanation of the Word] and find even more written about the Greek word logos. “This Gospel [John]… takes us back before time began to the moment when God interrupts the silence and speaks the cosmos into existence. Only John’s Gospel names Jesus as the Logos and declares that He existed long before time was measured. This Greek word carries a variety of meanings, all relating to the act of speaking…”
The description put forth here only begins to scratch the surface of all I do not know. Or understand. Thank You that we have You as our Voice. The One, True Word.
Empower and enable me in using words wisely and well. I love You. I need, trust and want to represent You appropriately. Do all You must. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
