But God...

Blessed Lord God,

Thank You! My thoughts keep turning into songs. There have been four so far. And they just keep coming. Reminding me of Your Truth. Your faithfulness. Thank You.

You enabled me to have extra sleep this morning. For that I am also grateful. Waking with songs and Truth has me smiling.

Thinking of my own flaws and limitations, I was immediately comforted by the “But God…” that followed my thoughts.

I can’t… But God can. I’m not… But God is. I don’t… But God does. Thank You Father that You love us so much more than we can ever imagine.

There are so many things I don’t understand. Don’t want or care enough to pursue. I’m asking (Matthew 7:7a) You to align my heart, soul, mind and strength with Your best for me. Empower and embolden me in making decisions that will leave me glorifying and enjoying You.

I love, need, trust and want You. Do all You must in using me as You know is best. I don’t know what that is. Thank You that You do!
