I went back in and tried for more.

Father, thank You that You ARE our:

 

♪Way Maker, Miracle Worker

Promise Keeper, Light in the darkness♪ 

I’ve been making mistakes again. I am asking (Matthew 7:7a) You to redeem and use them as You know is best.

Let’s take the dream I had before 2:20. The opportunity of reconnecting with my beloved husband. And what did I do? I squandered and wasted it by being aloof. Cold. Unfriendly. Some hurt or another that seemed so important at the moment has me shedding HUGE tears of regret now.

Father God, You are so good to call us out of our despair. You provide us choices. Stay where we are. Or change. Thank You Father for the times I choose to allow You to change me. My thoughts. Words. Feeling. Actions.

Take right now for example. I've spent hours regretting the wasted opportunity of this particular dream. All the way until I searched the antonym for the verb waste. The opposite of using or expending carelessly.

Conserve. Fortify. Strengthen. Husband.

Wait a minute. That’s what the dream was about. And now I remember a dear friend directing me to consider You as my Husband. Thank You God that there is much written about this as well.

Isaiah 54:5, 10

1 Timothy 5:5

Father, thank You that even [especially!] when I was feeling downhearted and dejected over my attitude and actions from that dream, You took what I was able to offer You and guided me to Your Truth. I can’t make this stuff up! This is definitely You at work. Thank You God. Praise You Lord.

Psalm 94:19 “When doubts filled my mind, Your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer.”

Use me exactly as You know is best. Loving You, others and myself with all of my heart, soul, mind and strength (Mark 12:30-31). I love, need, trust and want You Lord. Do all You must. Amen.
