Father,
Thank You for singing Your Truth to me again.

Another unsuccessful attempt at more sleep had me again singing.

Father God, there is so much sadness surrounding our much loved ones. It is on their behalves I come before You. Asking. Seeking. Knocking (Matthew 7:7) that You would truly turn their ashes into a crown of beauty (Isaiah 61:3a).
Provide each “a joyous blessing instead of mourning” (3b). Making them like great oaks that You have planted for Your own glory (3c).
The grief and sadness is incomprehensible Dear Lord. The Truth and promises of Your Word are our only recourse.
How I pray that each will be enveloped with the mercy and grace in Christ [magic] that only You are able to provide. Let them experience Your peace, “which exceeds anything we can understand.” Your peace which will guard their hearts and minds as they live in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Dearest Lord, hear our prayers and heal these hurting hearts. We love, need, trust and want You Blessed God. Do all You must in using each of us as You alone know is best. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
