Blessed God,
(7:22 a.m.)
I’m giving it another shot. I couldn’t stay focused on You earlier. Too many thoughts and feelings wanting center stage. Thank You for the opportunity to work, walk, wander and wonder as I wound my way through them. With no particular place to go. Except back here with You.
Yes. Thank You Father that I never want to give You just lip service. I want my praise and thanksgiving to be real. Heartfelt. Genuine. You make that happen.
Father God, I love You. I need You. I trust and want You as absolute Lord of my life.
(8:06 a.m.)
I searched the words “let my praise be real” and I found the new to me phrase Coram Deo. Latin. Meaning “before the face of God” or “in the presence of God.”
A writing in Bible Hub states, “Coram Deo conveys the reality that every moment unfolds in God’s presence. Rooted in Scripture and echoed through church history, it stands as a call to authentic living and reverent faith.”
That is my plea to You Dearest Dad. I want to live for Your glory. Reverently and authentically. Do all You must in using me as You know is best. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
