Thank You for ready access to information. Yes, Lord. When we’ve got questions we get to find answers. Thank and praise You God.

Taking the idea of information into Your Word, I land at 1 Corinthians 12:1 in The Message. Paul talking about “the various ways God’s Spirit gets worked into our lives. This is complex and often misunderstood, but I want you to be informed and knowledgeable.”

I want that too Dear Lord! Informed and knowledgeable.

“Remember how you were when you didn’t know God, led from one phony god to another, never knowing what you were doing, just doing it because everybody else did?” (v. 2). I DO remember Lord!

“It’s different in this life. God wants us to use intelligence, to seek to understand as well as we can” (3a). Understand what?

“Now I want you to know that if you are led by God’s Spirit, you will say that Jesus is Lord, and you will never curse Jesus” (Contemporary English Version). I want to be led by Your Spirit Lord.

Thank You!

Fear started to take hold hours ago. Thank You for reminding me that the antidote for fear is FAITH. Thanksgiving. Praise. You!

Father, thank You for the privilege of coming before You exactly as I am. Hopeful because of the Truth of Your promises. Searching Your Word to learn more about having faith instead of fearing. Praise You Lord

Lying in the dark, I could tell my mind was starting to spin wildly with every “What if…?” I allowed in. Thank You that You put a sudden stop to it all. Singing praise songs helped immensely. As did seeking out Truth. Inviting in the presence of the Holy Spirit.

healing miracles

Holy God,

Thank You. Praise You. We’re coming to You for a miracle on behalf of another Lord. Make that plural. Miracles. For others.

Father, we know You to be good. Great. Glorious. Gracious. Loving. Kind. All knowing. Able. Do all You know is best. Necessary. We don’t know Your ways. You do. And we trust You Lord.

♪God Will Make A Way Where there seems to be no way…♪ Your Word (Isaiah 43:19; 63:7. Psalm 105 ) guides us to hope and have faith. We need You Dearest God. We want You. We ask You for the healing miracles that only You can provide.

Thank You for the privilege of waking to another song. ♪My heart beating My soul breathing I found my life When I laid it down Upward falling Spirit soaring I Touch the Sky When my knees hit the ground♪

Oh dearest, most loving God, I truly do not know how to pray (Romans 8:26). Asking the Holy Spirit to do it all for [in, by, through, with] me to Your good and glorious end. Providing the peace of Your presence. Do what I can’t!

Anchor and root us deeply in the soil of Your love (The Life Recovery Bible comment for Ephesians 3:14-21) as only You can. You have ‘glorious, unlimited resources to provide Your mighty inner strength through Your Holy Spirit’ (v. 16).

“Now glory be to God! By His mighty work within us, He is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope” (20). Yes please! We are in serious need of Your healing miracles.

Use us Lord. We love You. We thank You. We need You. We want You. We praise You. Amen.

risks AND benefits

Blessed, Holy God,

“Risks versus benefits.” That’s what I woke up thinking. Bringing it before You just now, I realized a one word change. AND instead of versus.

Hmm… Matthew 25:14-30. Guide me in understanding how You would have me apply this section Dear Lord.

I love You. You have profoundly blessed us. I long to be the good and faithful servant (vs. 21; 23) exemplified in these verses. You know what is best. All that is required for daring obedience.

I confess to being reluctant, Dear Father. Fear of making a mistake keeps me bound. Unwilling to take risks. No matter the potential benefit.

Work in me this day, O Lord. With. By. Through. For. I want to be the woman You have created me to be. Unafraid of putting to use the talents You have afforded me.

An inset in The Voice describes Jesus telling His disciples of “slaves waiting for their Master… given responsibilities that will be rewarded. The blessings of the Kingdom bring risks along with the benefits.”

Father, I do not take being Your child lightly. Embolden me in sharing You and Your blessings freely with others.

Thank You. Praise You.

I’m here seeking Your guidance. Your will. Your way.

Waking up with a start. Singing one word. ♪ Chains! ♪

Isaiah 52:1-2; 58:6-12

Jeremiah 40:4-5

Lord, I am here honestly ♪seek[ing] first the kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33) and Your righteousness…♪ Yes Lord. I am asking, seeking, knocking (Matthew 7:7) for Your guidance and direction.

I long to walk with You. Freed from all chains of the past.

The more I read Your Word (Romans 6:6) the more I nod my head in agreement. Father, thank You for the freedom Jesus’ death and resurrection provided. Teach me to use that freedom well this day.

Freed from every single chain that could keep me bound. I love You Lord. I need and want You. Thank You. Praise You. Use me. Amen.
