Blessed God,


NONE of this is what we expected May of this year to look like! I see Your hand in it all. How I love and thank You for Your presence. Asking. Seeking. Knocking (Matthew 7:7) that You would continue holding us close as we walk through this valley of the shadow of death (Psalm 23:4). That we would TRULY fear no evil.


You ARE “our Father who art in heaven. Hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive us our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil for Thine IS the Kingdom and the POWER and the glory forever. Amen” (Matthew 6:9-13, Luke 11:2-4).


Yes Father! Give us the strength and courage to keep fighting the good fight. Yes Father! Your power. Your strength. The strength of Your mighty power (Ephesians 6:10). Your power is made strong in our weakness  (2 Corinthians 12:9). Oh how we love You Lord. And ♪Oh how You love him and me♪


Bless us. Keep us. Make Your face shine upon us. Turn Your face toward us. Smile. And give us Your peace (Numbers 6:24-26).

Most Dear and Blessed Holy God,


Thank You for this opportunity of time to take time to be with You. Thinking. Thanking. Being glad. And grateful.


Thank You Father that You know what You’re doing. You know what You have in store for us. Because You know, we don’t have to. We are called to trust You. And we do.


Fill us with the strength of Your mighty power at work within us Lord (Ephesians 6:10). We truly love, need, trust and want You to do all You know is best.


Thank You for this particular moment in time that isn’t rushed or hurried. Allowing us to rest. Reflect. Rejuvenate. Recharge. And hope. In You. Mm, yes Father. All our hope is indeed in You.


Truly! ♪Our life is in You, Lord Our strength is in You, Lord Our hope is in You, Lord In You, it’s in You We will praise You with all of our life We will praise You with all of our strength With all of our life With all of our strength All of our hope is in You♪

Thank You also for inspiring quotes that allude to the importance of community. “Without… nothing works.”


Father, we are in need of a more closely built community. One that allows for the personal differences we each have. As well as our own opinions and choices. Let us become a band of caregivers that can truly come together loving and respecting one another. Ever remembering the importance of speaking Truth in love (Ephesians 4:15).


Lord God, thank You for loving us. Taking such tender care of us. Continue Your work in each of us. Teaching us the importance of truly making room for You.

a miracle of hope

Blessed God,


I’m looking to You to do all in, with, by, through and for me that I cannot possibly do for myself right now. Like even consider getting out of bed for the day.


Lord, thank You that You are still good. Great. Glorious. Gracious (Psalm 145:5-8). I’m saying what I’ve been taught. Asking You to come and bolster me. Yes. Support. Improve. Make stronger.


I need You Father. To prop me up. Empower and enable me to take the very next step. I’m confessing fear to You right now.


Thank You that You Word has an answer to that! 2 Timothy 1:7, “for God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (Young’s Literal Translation).


I want to trust You Lord. To full on depend that You know exactly what You are doing.


I need You to work a miracle in me. A miracle of hope.

Yes Father. Keep bringing me back to the hope we have in You. And Your Word of Truth and promises.

Again I got to wake up singing. This time it’s ♪Counting Every Blessing♪ And I am Lord! Thank You.


♪Ooh Ooh I was blind, now I’m seeing in color I was dead, now I’m living forever I had failed, but You were my Redeemer I’ve been blessed beyond all measure♪


I used those very words yesterday. “We’ve been blessed beyond all measure.” And we have. In SO many ways!


♪I was lost, now I’m found by the Father I’ve been changed from a ruin to treasure I’ve been given a hope and a future I’ve been blessed beyond all measure♪


Thank You Blessed Father. The very practice of counting every blessing was introduced to us so very long ago. Thank You for the work You’ve been doing in each of us over the years that we would truly learn to “count it all as joy” (James 1:2).


Here, from The Voice. Verses 2-4. “Don’t run from tests and hardships, brother and sisters.As difficult as they are, you will ultimately find joy in them; if you embrace them, your faith will blossom under pressure and teach true patience as you endure. And true patience brought on by endurance will equip you to complete the long journey and cross the finish line- mature, complete, and wanting nothing.”


Most Dear and Blessed Father God. I am truly depending on You and Your Word of truth and promises to deliver us from this current trial in ways we could never imagine.

Just when I think I’m very near to the end of this thread onto which I am holding, Your Word is here to remind me of Your Truth and promises. Thank You Father. Praise You Lord!

We just received a gut punch Father. Even as I was preparing to not know what to do with it, You reminded me. ♪I Raise a Hallelujah With everything inside of me… I will watch the darkness flee… in the middle of the mystery… Fear, you lost your hold on me♪

Thank You for waking me with songs of strength and courage. One by Kenny Loggins that I was sure I’d have no trouble remembering. That is completely not the current case.


Thank You for the privilege of sitting with You. Asking (Matthew 7:7) Your blessings on loved ones. As well as strangers.


Father, thank You for those who make kindness a habit. A smile. A hug. Carefully chosen encouraging words. Thank You that it is Your love that is behind it all.


Thank You that it is because of Your love that we have the opportunity to love You, others and ourselves. With all of our hearts, souls, minds and strength (Mark 12:30-31). As You alone dictated love to be (1 Corinthians 13:4-7).


Thank You for the choices You provide us. Grudge holding? Or forgiveness. Your true love? Or indifference? Continue Your work in teaching us the very fine art concerning love.
