Blessed Father God,
You blessed and kept me yesterday. Turned Your face toward me. Smiled and gave me peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Thank You Father.
Thank You for the love You have for us. The love that would wake me up at 1:30 in the morning singing.
Thank You for that same love that allowed me to find the lyrics to the song that kept inching its way into my consciousness.

VERY unexpectedly I am caught up in emotion Lord. Complete with tears forming in my heart as well as my eyes. Oh. Now they’re rolling down the bridge of my nose. Very unexpected.
(3:30 a.m.)
You blessed me with the desire and ability to attend a memorial service for the eldest sister of friends from over 55 years ago. The emotional triggers I am experiencing are running far deeper than I could ever have imagined. Thank You Father that You are here in the midst of it all.

I’m surrendered now
I give You everything♪

Most Dear and Blessed Father God, I am truly caught off guard by the depth of this emotion.
♪All my life You have been faithful
And all my life You have been so, so good
With every breath that I am able
Oh, I’m gonna sing of the
Goodness of God♪

Again with the emotion God!
Reading about the lyrics of this song, one Truth stands out. “When we surrender to God’s will, He is in control of our lives.” It cites Isaiah 64:8 as an example. “And yet, O LORD, You are our Father. We are the clay, and You are the potter. We all are formed by Your hand.” Thank You for the opportunity of experiencing Your goodness Lord.
I confessed fear to You yesterday and was blessed with Your peace. Thank You Dear Lord. Use me again this day [which You have indeed made (Psalm 118:24a)] exactly as You know is best. Rejoicing and being glad in it (v. 24b).
I love You. I need, trust and want You. Do all You must to Your good and perfect end (Romans 12:2). Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
