appreciating mistakes

 ♪The Truth is

I am my Father’s child♪

Monday, June 23, 2025 (4:29 a.m.)

Thank You God that I am Yours.

(4:46 a.m.)

Much of this morning has already been spent on the mistakes I continue making. Large. Small. You name it. I keep making them.

Wanting to learn to embrace rather than avoid them, I just read an interesting concept. Appreciate them! Hmm. What a great idea. “Give thanks in ALL things!” (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Mistakes included.

♪… I don’t belong to the lies

I belong to YOU…

I know who I am

‘Cause I know who You are♪

Thank You for Your Truth Dear Father. That Truth which truly sets us free (John 8:32). Free to be the people You created and designed us to be.

I want to live as You would have me live Dearest Dad. Free. Loving. Respectful. Kind. Appreciative. Joyful. Prayerful. Thankful. In every situation (1 Thessalonians 5:13-18).

Father, the apostle Paul knew and loved You well. I want to follow suit. Continue Your work in making me the woman You would have me be. One who truly learns to appreciate the mistakes she continues making.

Yes Lord. I want to “get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be[ing] kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven” ME! (Ephesians 4:31-32).

Thank You for singing and speaking Your Truth to me this morning. Use me as only You know is best. Appreciating each mistake I am sure to make. I love, need, trust and want You. Thank You Lord. Praise You. Amen.
