I’m confessing to You Dear Lord. I’m trying to manufacture some sort of praise. I know You are good. Great. Glorious. Gracious (Psalm 145:5-8). And yet I dare to wrestle with dissatisfaction.

You have blessed me in SO many ways. Still I pick at the imperfections. I know I am to “rejoice and be glad” (Psalm 118:24b). Truly I want to. Do all You must that I will genuinely trust You and rejoice in all You have provided.

This IS the day You have made (Psalm 118:24a). Keep working on my heart, soul, mind and strength that I will love as You command (Mark 12:30-31). You. My neighbor. Myself.

Make Your presence in my life obvious and easily seen. I love, need, trust and want You Lord. And I want to represent You well. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
