living light and love

 Tuesday, August 19, 2025 (3:59 a.m.)

Most Dear and Holy Lord God,

THANK YOU!

You teach us. You change us. You love us. You bless and keep us. Thank You.

Sleeping and resting again to the Truth of Your Word. Psalm 18:1. “I love You, LORD. You are my strength.” Thank You Father.

You reminded me that when I wake thinking of people, places or things to pray for them. I did. And am doing so now.

There are loved ones hurting Lord. With struggles of which I am unaware. Bless them. Keep them. Make Your face shine upon them. Turn Your face toward them. Smile. And give them [Your] peace (Numbers 6:24-26).

Dearest God,

♪…The moon and the stars

Declare who You are

I’m so unworthy

But still You love me…♪

Father, thank You for all the things I do not know. Nor understand.

Thank You that we have You. Your love. Your Truth. Your promises. To comfort and guide us.

Ecclesiastes 4:8-12 speaks to The Advantage of Companionship. The importance of not going it alone. Of trusting and depending on others. Yes Lord. Keep teaching me I pray.

(6:05 a.m.)

Again I say, “Thank You” Lord.

Taking the time to watch the message I missed on Sunday, I heard about the importance of living light and love. Turning just now to 1 John 1:1-4, I read the words Invitation to Joy. Mm…

Illustrated Bible Handbook states, “John writes warmly and urgently. He knows that fellowship with God is our only hope to know real joy.” Oh, “Amen!” to that!

Reading verse four, I start singing verses seven and eight..

“We are writing these things so that (y)our joy will be complete.”

This Is My Commandment

That You love one another,

That your joy may be full…♪

Only knowing the first verse, I’m surprised to learn there are more. Verse two says we must trust one another. Three adds we are to serve. And four instructs us to lay down our lives.

Wow!

I came out to a very dark sky. Watched the moon and the stars declare who You are. And now

♪The sun comes up

It’s a new day dawning

It’s time to sing Your song again

Whatever may pass

And whatever lies before me

Let me be singing when the evening comes♪

Yes!

♪Bless the Lord, O my soul, O my soul

Worship like never before, O my soul

I’ll worship Your holy name♪

(10,000 Reasons)

How I ask (Matthew 7:7a) You Dearest Dad, do all You must that I will truly live in Your light and love. Trusting, serving and laying my life down as You would have me.

I love, need, trust and want You as absolute Lord of my life. Thank You for all You’ve already done and continue doing. Use me as You know is best. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
