Awesome God,
Thank You! Sleep. Singing. And smiles. What a great way to start the day! Thank You.
Yes. Thank You for thawing my stone cold heart.
(5:38 a.m.)
Thank You for time to read of stony hearts in Your Word. Ezekiel 36:26. Zechariah 7:12.
Thank You also for a walk outside that allowed me the most prolific view of stars that I have seen in quite some time. A masterful piece of dot-to-dot work I must say. In fact, “Wow!” came out of my mouth several times. Unbidden. Readily. Easily. And often.

Yes! Hallelujah to You. What a truly great way to start the day. Thank You for blessing us. And keeping us (Numbers 6:24).
Make Your face shine upon us and be gracious to us (v. 25). Turn Your face toward us [and SMILE!] and give us peace.
Father God, I love, need, trust and want You. Use me as You alone know is best. Practicing all the fruit of Your Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Love. Joy. Peace. Patience. Kindness. Goodness. Faithfulness. Gentleness. And self-control.

Just as I was rounding the corner, ready to be done, here I come to another great way of starting the day. A new to me reading of this section of Scripture. EasyEnglish Bible. Verses 22-25.
“But God’s Spirit causes us to live in a different [see verses 19-21] way. We love other people. We are happy and we have peace in our minds. We are patient, kind and good. People can trust us to do what is right. We respect other people and we rule ourselves properly. God’s Spirit helps us to live in that way. There is no law that says theses things are wrong.
“We belong to Christ. As a result, we no longer obey our wrong human thoughts. We stop doing the bad things that our thoughts want us to do. It is like we have killed those thoughts on the cross. Now it is God’s Spirit that gives us life. So we must let God’s Spirit lead us in how we live.”
Yes please! Lead that I will follow. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
