finding joy, strength and sanity

 I’m Yours…

All Yours…

Saturday, August 23, 2025 (4:26 a.m.)

Holy God,

Thank You that I am Yours. All Yours.

I’m confessing to feeling confused right now. Watching the early morning sky, the lower planet seems to fade in and out. Practically disappearing one moment. Then suddenly seeming to be brighter than the other.

There it goes again! Intensely bright. Fade. Bright again. And here come clouds to hide the higher one. It doesn’t take much to mystify me Lord. Thank You that You are behind it all.

Just like me singing the wrong word to the chorus above. Although I truly am Yours. All Yours. The song actually sings ♪It’s Yours… All Yours♪ in reference to Your kingdom, Your power and Your glory (Matthew 6:13, in some Bibles).

(5:26 a.m.)

Thank You for time to sit. And read. Wonder. Call out to You. Watch. Learn. Care. Change. And wonder some more.

♪Father, let Your Kingdom come

Father, let Your will be done

On earth as in heaven

 Right here in my heart♪

Thank You for the privilege of watching the sky lighten. And brighten. As well as those same two planets. Visible to me one minute. Gone from my sight the next.

♪Give us this day our daily bread

Forgive us

As we forgive the ones who sinned against us

Forgive them

And lead us not into temptation

But deliver us from the evil one

Let Your Kingdom come♪

Thinking I was reading a devotion geared toward The Lord’s Prayer, I find I am wrong again. Thank You God for the various ways You make me aware of the mistakes I make. I love, need, trust and want You Lord.

You are vital to my very being. Lead, guide, comfort and direct me Dearest God. I want very much to “choose to find joy, strength and sanity” as I accept all that today will bring.

Use me exactly as You know is best. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
