Father, thank You.

A new day IS dawning. And there are easily more than 10,000 reasons for my heart to find for worshiping You.

Wouldn’t that be a rewarding challenge?! To find and acknowledge every reason I have to worship You through every given day.

Again I say, “Father, thank You!”

Much time spent going over the writing of this song. As well as learning more about Psalm 103:1 from which it began.

And just when I think I’m completely blessed enough with the tiniest bit of understanding, “But wait! There’s more!!”

Amplified Bible and Amplified Bible, Classic Edition use the words, “Bless and affectionately (gratefully) praise the LORD, O my soul; and all that is [deep, deepest] within me, bless His holy name.”

Yes! Bless Your holy name Dearest Lord.

Then comes The Passion Translation. Our Father’s Love King David’s song of praise And my head and heart are spinning with excitement. True passion!

“With my whole heart, with my whole life, and with my innermost being, I bow in wonder and love before You, the holy God!” Yes!

Verses two and three, “YAHWEH, You are my soul’s celebration. How could I ever forget the miracles of kindness You’ve done for me? You kissed my heart with forgiveness, in spite of all I’ve done.”

Oh most incredible God, how I thank You for the directions You have taken me so far this morning. You ARE my soul’s celebration! Providing miracle after miracle of kindness for me.

Let me be singing when the evening comes♪

This section of the song lines up perfectly with the play on words You’ve been percolating within me the past few days. Changing the first word of the phrase “expect the unexpected” to accept will absolutely allow me to be singing when the evening comes.
