Blessed Father, Son and Holy Spirit,

What would it be like to live this day truly wanting to bless others? I confess to my habit of wanting to be blessed. I see myself as self-indulgent. Self-absorbed. Change me Jesus.

Mm. And thank You! A very deep breath followed the lone search result for the word self-absorbed. 1 Corinthians 13:5 in The Voice. “it's never rude, crude, or indecent – it's not self-absorbed. Love isn't easily upset. Love doesn't tally wrongs.”

Yes, Blessed Trinity, work in me this day that I would truly love You (Mark 12:30) and others (31) as You would have me love. Yes. Please. Teach me to love.
