♪Fill My Cup, Lord♪
It seems like such a demand. ♪Run it over Give me love, give me joy Give me peace… I am Your child in need Lord, I need You♪

I think of myself as more of a “please” and “thank You” kind of gal. In fact, I tend to bristle at authoritative ordering.
There seems to be a lot of “unpacking” to do with these word choices this morning Lord. Let’s start over, shall we?
I love You, Lord. I need, trust and want You to teach, lead, guide and direct me as You know is best.
I’m reading about coming before You boldly and courageously. That sounds good. Humbly. Respectfully.

Still reading. Searching. Finding. Living Faith Realities. “We must learn to follow the flow of the Spirit.” Yes, please! That’s absolutely something I know I need.

“We must learn to recognize the strong presence of God and to cooperate with it so that it intensifies, but we must also learn to place a demand upon it in order to receive the benefit of it.” There’s a stirring in my Spirit Lord. Like an “Aha!” is coming.
Do what is necessary in, with, by, through and for me Dear Lord that I truly learn to place a demand on Your power as You would have me. I want to learn to utilize Your power that is available to heal, deliver and set free.
Reading further. “… unbelief will keep us from receiving… We must receive by faith.”
The woman who had heard about Jesus, came up behind Him in the crowd, touched His robe and was immediately healed (Mark 5:27-29). “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. Your suffering is over” (v. 34).
She didn’t demand. She risked. Trusted. Had faith.
“Faith always is the way to place a demand on the power of God.” Teach me “how to receive the power being administered.” I want to “learn to cooperate with the power of God to receive from it” (Living Faith Realities).
Mm, yes Blessed Father. Teach me to place a demand on Your power that I will truly live as You would have me. Healed. Delivered. Set free to be the woman You created.
I love, need, trust and want You. Do all You must. ♪Fill My Cup, Lord Run it over Give me love, give me joy Give me peace…♪ “Please.” And “thank You!” Amen.
