Blessed God,
You blessed me again! With really good sleep. Complete with a dream. Reminding me of the importance of setting boundaries. And asking for help.
Mm. Lord God, I even woke up singing. ♪In Jesus Name♪ And smiling.
Thank You Father. It is in Jesus’ name that I hope.

Mm, yes! All this time spent reading in Your Word. Of hope. And trust. Thank You Father.
“O LORD, our Lord, Your majestic name fills the earth! Your glory is higher than the heavens” (Psalm 8:1).
“The LORD is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Those who know Your name trust in You, for You, O LORD, do not abandon those who search for You” (Psalm 9:9-10).
You provided me such peace yesterday Lord. Reminding me to take a break. Not take the world so serious. Laugh. Enjoy. And to remember that the only way to eat an elephant [complete overwhelmingly large tasks] is one bite at a time.
Father, thank You for the husband that introduced me to that saying all those years ago. Thank You for the sense I have of his occasional presence still here with me.
Thank You too for the tears I shed yesterday while in the grocery store. Beginning at the first notes of one of my own dad’s favorite songs. ♪Don’t Worry, Be Happy♪
Yes! Biblically sound words of encouragement. Found in the apostle Paul’s letter to the believers in Philippi. “Always be full of joy in the Lord… Don’t worry about anything… Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise” (Philippians 4:4-8).
Yes, Father. Yes! You provide for us. Every single thing we need to keep eating those elephants. One tiny bite at a time.
Redefined roles of responsibility are daunting. Thank You that I can bring them all to You. Asking for just the very next step [or bite!].
Thank You that You are the ♪Good, Good Father♪ that You are. Provide me the courage and strength to take yet another bite!
This Truth from The Message I pray for myself Dear Lord. “Oh! May the God of green hope fill you up with joy, fill you up with peace, so that your believing lives, filled with the life-giving energy of the Holy Spirit, will brim over with hope!” (Romans 15:13).
And from The Passion Translation. “Now may God, the inspiration of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in Him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with His super-abundance until you radiate with hope!”
Yes! I want to radiate with hope in You. Thank You Father.
♪Holy Spirit You are welcome here Come flood this place and fill the atmosphere Your glory God is what our hearts long for To be overcome by Your presence Lord♪
Yes. Thank You. Praise You. I love, need, trust and want You. Use me as You know is best. Amen.
