encouraged

 Tuesday, April 22, 2025 (5:37 a.m.)

Blessed God,

I’m grateful to You. Thank You for encouraging me toward gratitude.

(6:13 a.m.)

Just look at the smile on my face. And the peace in my heart. You did this Lord. It’s You. All You!

I confess my plan was to come before You complaining about still feeling tired. Not the best night’s sleep. Your encouragement changed all that. Thank You Father.

Getting to follow the concept of being encouraged back into Your Word, I am reading Your apostle Paul’s letter to the believers in Ephesus. Written to strengthen them in their relationship with You. And each other.

Thank You Father. I further confess that I have no idea what today holds. Thank You for the peace that comes from trusting and believing that You hold it.

Ephesians Chapter 3. A Loving People. God’s Mysterious Plan Revealed (vs. 1-13). And Paul’s Prayer for Spiritual Growth (14-21).

(6:35 a.m.)

Most Blessed and Holy Father God, reading in both The Life Recovery Bible and Illustrated Bible Handbook I am learning more about our privilege of coming into Your presence. Boldly and confidently (v. 12). Thank You Lord.

Thank You for taking my heart. My soul. My mind. My strength. And bending them to Your will. Your way.

Thank You that You, “the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth” (v.15) “will empower us with inner strength through Your Spirit (16b) from Your glorious, unlimited resources” (16a).

I depend on the Truth of Your Word Blessed God. Believing that “Christ WILL make His home in my heart as I trust in Him. With roots that grow down into Your love and keep me strong” (17).

I ask (Matthew 7:7a) that I “may have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep Your love is” (18). I want to “experience the love of Christ , though it is too great to understand fully. Then I will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from You” (19).

“Now all glory to You, who is able, through Your mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinity more than we might ask or think. Glory to You in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen” (20-21).

Thank You for encouraging me this morning. Do all You must that I will use well this time You have allotted me. I love, need, trust and want You as absolute Lord of my life. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
