Holy God,
I’m here again. Asking (Matthew 7:7a) in advance. For next time.
Yes Lord! Next time I think about avoiding You. The next time I begin falling back into a “What can it hurt?” mindset. Please remind me to “be diligent and turn from my indifference (Revelation 3:19b).
Thank You that I had just quoted these very words the other day. How easily Your Truth comes into and then departs our senses. We cannot be trusted to live and love as You would have us on our own.
BUT! “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). Yes! THIS is the Truth I want to stay my mind and stand firmly on. Next time.
The Message “Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am.” Yes please Dearest God. Prepare me for next time.
Do all You must that I can learn to recognize and “turn from indifference and become enthusiastic about the things of God” (Revelation 3:19b The Living Bible). Yes. Please!
Use me exactly as You know is best. I love, need, trust and want You. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
